Breakthrough rock band Biffy Clyro are returning to the US for a headline fall tour. The run kicks off in Charlotte, NC on September 28th and continues through October 10th in Philadelphia, PA. Morning Parade will support. The Scottish trio is touring in support of their new album, Opposites, which debuted at #1 in the UK with over 70,000 copies sold first week. Opposites won the Kerrang Award for Best Album and Biffy won this year's NME Award for Best British Band.
Produced by GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) in Los Angeles, CA.
Opposites has received overwhelming critical praise. "Opposites is a vastly original, exquisitely-produced, fully-realised and creatively outstanding piece of work," declared Kerrang! "The chances of any band this year releasing an album that can claim to be its equal are nil." Q magazine agreed, saying, "Opposites confirms Biffy as the emerging band of the decade. Their sixth album has everything you want from a rock group... Watch them conquer." Kerrang! also recently named front man Simon Neil "The Greatest Rock Star in the World Today."
Biffy Clyro were last in the US this spring playing Coachella and touring with Muse, including two shows at Madison Square Garden. They will headline Reading & Leeds later this month.
