Anthony Orio's 'Undeniable' Releases 10/9
By: BWW News Desk
Road warrior Anthony Orio took time off performing 200 shows per year to hunker down with producer Matt Rovey (Craig Campbell, Dean Brody) to write and record the six-song Undeniable EP, which is set for release October 9, 2017 on Country Fix Music/MRMG. He wrote two of the songs solo and was joined by Christopher Griffiths and/or Josh Paige on three. He stepped outside the format to record a funk infused version of the Jagger/Richards standard "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
The upbeat title track, which he wrote with Griffiths and Paige, has been released as a single to Country radio. An accompanying music video - his first - will hit airwaves later this month. "Undeniable is the most 'me' thing I've ever done," said Anthony. "Five years ago I started calling my brand of country 'Motown Country.' With a trio of Detroit boys behind me we finally brought that blend of Country, Motown and Philly soul from the stage to the studio on this EP."

"You Can't Always Get What You Want" (Jagger/Richards) About Anthony Orio: Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, music was instilled in him at a young age by his family. Orio would borrow his great grandmother's cane to belt out his rendition of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" while dancing around the living room. At age eight, his father bought him his first George Strait record, Beyond The Blue Neon, and he was hooked. He received his first guitar that Christmas and he never looked back.
In addition to releasing two independent projects and two singles, Orio has enjoyed success as a songwriter with cuts by Grammy award-winning country comedy legend Ray Stevens as well as former RCA recording artist Andy Griggs, and Curb Records newcomer Tim Dugger. In addition to these tracks that have attracted national radio airplay, Orio's songs have been published by Sony Music, Universal Music, RPM Music and Major Bob Music, among others.
