Afterhere Release Debut Album ADDICT

Afterhere are Glenn Gregory & Berenice Scott. Glenn is one half of Platinum selling 80's synth pop bandHeaven 17, whose big hits include 'Temptation', 'Come Live With Me' & 'Crushed By The Wheels of Industry'. Glenn was also one of the singers on the original Band Aid single 'Feed The World' and sings inTony Visconti and Woody Woodmansey's band, Holy Holy, performing some of Bowie's biggest hits.

He and Berenice met four years ago at an airport in Denmark, when they were both due to perform at a festival. Heaven 17 were looking for an extra keyboard player in their band. On seeing Berenice at the airport and watching her play, Glenn decided Berenice was someone he would like to know and work with. A potential flirtation quickly turned into a musical marriage. Berenice has little interest in male attention, being a flaxen haired beauty who favours women, but the two hit it off like a house on fire and soon discovered they could make extremely sweet music together!

Berenice joined Heaven 17 on keys soon after and also tours with Holy Holy. The duo started writing their own material and created the score for last years big ITV Autumn Drama 'LIAR' starring Ioan Gruffud, Joanne Froggatt, Warren Brown and Zoe Tapper. They also contributed to the Broadway stageadaptation of 'Clockwork Orange'. Their TV and stage writing becoming much in demand they soon found themselves providing music for the forthcoming big budget ITV Autumn Drama 'VANITY FAIR' with an all star cast that includes; Olivia Cooke, Suranne Jones, Johnny Flynn, Martin Clunes, Frances de La Tour, Claudia Jesse, Charlie Rowe and many more great names from the small screen.

The title sequence to the show which airs in September will feature Afterhere's cover of the Dylan/ Hendrix classic 'All Along The Watchtower' along with additional original material from the band featured throughout the series.

No stranger to fame herself, Berenice grew up in a musical family, her father was Robin Scott, also known as 'M' the creator of the late 70's hit 'Pop Muzik', which actually featured Berenice as a smiling baby on the sleeve. She's also a multi- instrumentalist and takes centre stage as the main vocalist in Afterhere, whose sound is somewhere between Ladyhawke & Sarah Bareilles. Whilst Glenn's roots are in Sheffield and Berenice's the south, the duo now live in London. Between touring with their various bands, they can often be seen walking Berenice's Italian Greyhounds on Primrose Hill, whilst hatching ideas for another new music score!

Afterhere's live show will be at London's 229 Club on 4th October.
