Taco Bueno Continues to Expand in Colorado Springs

Taco Bueno, the iconic Mexican quick service restaurant chain, announced that it will open its third location in Colorado Springs, CO, on Friday, January 15, 2016, marking yet another milestone as the brand known for "Tex-Mex Made Fresh" continues to expand.

The new location at the northeast corner of Dublin & Tutt Boulevards is the third of five planned for Colorado Springs. The two existing restaurants are located on N. Academy across from the Chapel Hills Mall and on Garden of the Gods Road at Hilton Parkway just west of I-25.

"Taco Bueno is very excited to bring Taco Bueno and its 'Tex-Mex Made Fresh' concept to the northeast side of Colorado Springs," said CEO, Mike Roper. "This is a fast growing community and we are excited to be part of it."

The opening at Dublin & Tutt will be celebrated by awarding the first 50 customers in line before the 10 AM opening free food every week for an entire year. Additionally, a percentage of grand opening day sales will be donated to Angels of America's Fallen, a local charity which supports children of fallen military and first responders.

The grand opening celebration will continue into the weekend with another 'free food every week for a year' giveaway on Saturday, January 16, to the first 50 customers in line when the Dublin & Tutt location opens at 6 AM. There will also be a live radio remote at 10 AM on Saturday, and coupons and prizes being given out throughout the day.

Building on significant sales and transaction growth in 2015, Taco Bueno plans to add a total of 11 new restaurants in Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas in 2016, including the chain's first on-campus restaurant located at The University of North Texas in Denton.
