DPAC, along with the producers of Bull City Food & Beer Experience and TASTE events (produced by Durham & Chapel Hill Magazines) collaborate to bring the inaugural Sip + Savor - A Wine and Food Experience on October 15th, 2017. Our vision is to create an approachable event with educational components, highlight North Carolina's finest restaurants & culinary talents by pairing them with wine from all around the globe. This event will also serve as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for local charities and missions. We will open up all three levels of the famed DPAC for attendants to engage with restaurants and wineries in addition to an on-stage experience highlighting the North Carolina Wine Industry and the Agriculture that feeds it.

Additionally, we will host Causey Aviation VIP ticket holders in the newly renovated President's Club with rare and specialty spirits, beer & wine and private catering. The Causey Aviation VIP experience offers a private entrance and restrooms for guests to take advantage of. Another component that will reinforce the exceptional experience we are creating for attendants are the educational components showcasing wine producers and Sommeliers from all over the world allowing access to some of the most respected personalities in the business. We will create an intimate environment that allows attendants to eat up the local culinary scene while learning more about it and the wines that are being shared.

Notable Chefs Participating and more to be announced: Scott Howell of Nana's, Michael Lee of M Sushi, Bill Smith of Crooks Corner, Eric Montagne if Standard Foods, Charlie Deal of JuJube, Brandon Sharp of Carolina Crossroads at the Carolina Inn, Aaron Benjamin of Gocciolina, Jim Wald of Glasshalfull, Tim Lyons of Blu Seafood & Kevin Callaghan of ACME.
