SWAN LAKE Principal Casting Announced! Six Debuts, Heather Ogden Returns to the Stage
Debuting in the role of Odette/Odile are Second Soloists Hannah Fischer and Emma Hawes. Making their debuts in the role of Siegfried are Second Soloist Brendan Saye and Corps de Ballet member Christopher Gerty. Corps de Ballet members Ben Rudisin and Ethan Watts debut as Rothbart.
Principal Dancer Heather Ogden returns to the stage for Swan Lake, her first performance since having her second child, Léo, with fellow Principal Dancer Guillaume Côté. The couple will dance together as Odette/Odile and Siegfried on opening night. Also dancing the lead roles are Principal Dancers Svetlana Lunkina and Evan McKie.
Swan Lake has enthralled audiences since its premiere in Moscow in 1877. Set to a timeless score by Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake was choreographed by James Kudelka in 1999 and features sets and costumes by Santo Loquasto and lighting by Robert Thomson.
