Urlakis & Cusick, a critically-acclaimed Chicago-based sketch comedy duo, will premiere their latest revue, Urlakis & Cusick: Questionable Lullabies, on Friday, October 12 at 8:00PM at Stage 773, where it will run weekly through November 16.

Two of Chicago's sharpest comic minds, Dave Urlakis and Sean Cusick, are back with another highly-intelligent revue that contains just the right amount of lunacy and R-rated inappropriateness. In Urlakis & Cusick: Questionable Lullabies, the sketch comedy vets explore the uncomfortable truths revealed in consumer focus groups, look at why wealthy men really hunt animals to extinction, and give life to the horrifying circumstances hidden in common nursery rhymes. From famous authors to fallen athletes to everyday parents, Urlakis & Cusick take aim at all of them and more in another hour-long blitz of frenetic fun with a dark twist.

Both alums of the groundbreaking hit satire Best Church of God, and each an experienced fixture of the local sketch and improv scene, Urlakis & Cusick first partnered up for last year's self-titled debut, Urlakis & Cusick.

Dave Urlakis is an ensemble member at ComedySportz Chicago, is half of the two-person long form improv group Batterymouth, and is the creator behind the viral YouTube channel Awkward Spaceship, which has been featured on The Huffington Post, Gizmodo and G4TV’s Attack of the Show.

Sean Cusick is a teacher and performer at the Annoyance Theatre where he also co-created the hit Sodomites! The Musical, has taught and directed for the Second City, and is a writer for the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Green Screen Adventures on WCIU-TV.

Formerly known as Theatre Building Chicago, Stage 773 is a multi-theater performing arts venue located in the heart of Lakeview. The historic venue is now redesigned to include four different performance spaces of varying sizes and styles: the Thrust (mainstage), the Pro (proscenium mainstage), the Box (black box), and the Cab (cabaret). To further its mission of supporting artists as they develop their voices and talents, Stage 773 provides rehearsal and performance space, professional knowledge and experience, and a nurturing environment to help actors, directors, designers, writers and other artists reach their potential.
