While former Marching Band Director, Jon Waters, fights to regain his job, Director of University Bands, Professor Russel C. Mikkelson, and Associate Director of University Bands Scott Jones have been appointed to provide operational leadership and oversight of the Ohio State Marching Band for the 2014-15 season. With these appointments, the new structure incorporates faculty leadership from the College of Arts and Sciences, through which Marching Band students receive academic credit for band participation.
