The story of Prince Valerian and Princess Alisia takes place in the old times when kings ruled lands. The authors consider the book as an escape to a different time and place, and is geared towards a younger audience, nevertheless, enjoyable for the whole family.

The authors hope that the story may inspire readers to consider that they can always overcome any obstacles in their way, with help and guidance from others.
