The road to happiness may be paved with difficulty and heartache, but everyone's road to self-actualization is different.

Author Wendy Bowen finds that anyone can develop a sense of purpose and be happy by embracing life's journey and living in the moment. She shares her experiences in her new book, Happily Ever Now.

Bowen has been through her own spiritual journey and is determined to help others discover the happiness that may be missing in their lives. She demonstrates how to build the confidence and self-esteem required to overcome personal challenges such as finding a purpose, coping with heartache or making an important life decision.

"Have you ever felt alone when you were with another person?" says Bowen. "Perhaps there have been instances where you did not feel quite good enough. If you've ever wondered why and whether there's anything you can do about it, I can help."

In Happily Ever Now, readers experience Bowen's life from first love to present time. This immersion in her life helps others to understand why some people struggle with confidence and self-esteem even when their life is going well. Happily Ever Now is a spiritual autobiography and a road map to discovering one's purpose.
