"A Warrior's Heart": A Warrior's Heart" is the creation of published author, Tim Mehl, a retired police detective of the El Paso, Texas Police Department who served on the SWAT team and worked undercover for ten years. Tim has also worked with the US Marshal Service (JPATS). He served a year in Kosovo with the UN International Police Task Force where he worked with and trained police officers for the Kosovo Police Service. He is an Ordained Minister. He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers and the Security Team for the Church of the Harvest while he and his wife, Myrth participate in the Prayer and Alter Ministry.

"I have no doubt whatsoever, that there are young people out there who are going through some of the exact things that I went through. If this book about my testimony can reach just one person for Jesus Christ, then everything that I ever went through was worth it. I'd do it all over again, if just one person comes to know Jesus as Lord and Savior." Tim Mehl

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Tim Mehl's new book is the story of how God protected and guided the author throughout his life.

Tim struggled with ADD/ADHD as a child at a time when schools and parents did not know how to handle a child with these issues. Coupled with a difficult home life, including a verbally abusive father and chronically ill mother who perished when he was fifteen, this left him with a low self-esteem and a sense worthlessness, which pushed him toward the hippie movement of the '60s. His story takes readers through those hippie years when he started to use drug to when he eventually made the decision to drop out of high school to enlist in the US Navy.

When suicide seemed to be the only answer for his pain, he found the love of God. Through this spiritual autobiography, Tim G. Mehl shares the incredible things that the Lord did in him, for him and through him. This eventually led him to become a peace officer. Even when he strayed from the Christian path, God protected him. By learning to forgive and receive forgiveness, Tim takes readers through his discovery of God as his heavenly Father.
