The Ultimate Reading Experience from Shamrock Publishing
By: Robert Diamond Sep. 28, 2017
The "Crimson Blood" ebook launch includes 25 chapters to an epic-fiction-fantasy and a musical soundtrack. The tracks are not just all placed in the back of the book, but, instead, each track is placed where it helps tell the story without being a distraction, giving the reader more of a storytelling experience. What's unique is that the music doesn't make or break the book: each could both stand alone but are better together. It's kind of like icing on a cake (more or less). The Story
The story takes place in a world where some people are called Shokans because they can summon from various dominions. By the way, the word Shōkan means "to summon" in Japanese. The Shokans summon from the dominions of the sun, the oceans, and the seeds.
During the process of writing, illustrating and recording, "Shokan, Crimson Blood," Shamrock Publishing has had several young adults read the book and voluntarily write their own feedback and reviews. Here are what some of them had to say when they experienced the book:"Crimson Blood was a great book. It had a lot of weirdness in it and a little bit of normal in it, which is how I like things. It was intriguing and had you asking the perfect amount of questions." - Monica D. (high school student) age 16
- Sandra W. (Mother of two teens) age unknown (35-40)"I think this is a great book. I love how I can never see anything coming. There's a lot of surprises in the book. And, there are cool abilities in this book as well."
- Chris D. (high school student) age 15"Shokan: Crimson Blood is a new and fun take of stories in which you have special abilities. The story is interesting and easy to read that would make it available to all ages. I love the fact that Shokan is more about trying to figure yourself out and the things around you and focusing on more important things rather than ending up in a love romance kinda deal like most stories/movies nowadays. Overall, I really like Shokan, it caught my attention immediately and many others would feel the same way too."
– Lisa T. (high school student) age 15. Shamrock Publishing has launched the book, "Crimson Blood" priced at $0.99 which is pretty low for 25 chapters and a full soundtrack.Could this new company be on to something? Could this be the direction that eBooks are headed now? Only time will tell.To learn more about Shamrock Publishing's first book, "Shokan, Crimson Blood," visit: www.ShokanNation.com
