Stefan Braddock Announces Release of 'Android Ship' Stefan Braddock marks his publishing debut with the release of "Android Ship" (published by Archway Publishing), a novel tackling the emergence of sentient Artificial Intelligence and what it may mean for space exploration.

"I wanted to write a book for today's young readers in the classic style of 1950s and 60s sci fi, and hopefully pay tribute to those great legends," Braddock shares his inspiration in penning the book.

In 2069, Dr. Jayson Kenly and his android crew embark on a lengthy expedition of the solar system. Along the way, Kenly and his androids make remarkable discoveries about their mission and themselves. Clues of alien life lead them beyond the solar system, where they discover that humanity's fate may rest in their hands.

"Android Ship" is offered to young readers, ages 8 to 12. Braddock describes the story as fast moving and accessible, with intriguing - and sometimes challenging - concepts.

"My goal was to entertain and delight young minds, but also to give them something to think about. Today's young people very well might face some of the dilemmas we now call science fiction," Braddock adds. "If it encourages them to look further into Artificial Intelligence or space exploration, then I'd be delighted."
