SAN DIEGO, Aug. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ The English-speaking world is excited to see Stan Levenson's first children's book about fundraising called JUAN AND GWEN'S BIG FUNDRAISING SURPRISE. It is available today as an e-book and a paperback on Amazon.com and other places. Levenson has been involved in K-12 fundraising for more than 40 years. As one of the foremost K-12 fundraising writers in America, he is known throughout the world as an author of books and articles on fundraising, as a fundraising guru, as a teacher, and as a storyteller extraordinaire. Levenson has been interviewed on radio and television, online, and in the press, and has been quoted in newspapers and magazines across the nation. His most recent fundraising book, The Essential Fundraising Guide for K-12 Schools (Create Space) has received acclaim from some of the biggest names in fundraising in America including Jerold Panas, Tom Ahern, and Charles Best. Levenson has taught reading methods classes to teachers at San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego. This is his first children's book. It shares the gift of giving with children of all ages and emphasizes how important children, parents, teachers, principals, and alumni are in working together to raise monies for the schools. He holds a B.S. degree from the State University of New York at Oswego; an M.A. degree from U.C.L.A.; and a Ph.D. degree from United States International University (now Alliant International University) in San Diego.
