Springer Publishing Company is proud to announce that Joe Morita has joined its Nursing program as Senior Acquisitions Editor, and will be contributing to the expansion of the well-known program which has been publishing pioneering nursing works for over 60 years. Morita joins Springer Publishing Company with extensive knowledge and experience developing and marketing products for the nursing and health care markets.

As Senior Acquisitions Editor, Morita will be expanding the Nursing program's research, informatics, theory, nursing leadership, and management lists. He will also develop additional titles in bioethics, legal issues, nursing history, and transcultural nursing, as well as focus on interdisciplinary projects.

"I'm excited to join the Springer Publishing Nursing team, which has such a great reputation in its markets," commented Morita. "Since joining the company, I've been struck by everyone's work ethic and creativity, as well as the ability to get things done quickly. I look forward to working with this team to further advance Springer Publishing's unique and leading nursing program."

Morita's arrival is the most recent reflection of Springer Publishing's quickly evolving Nursing program, which offers books, journals, and electronic products. The company also recently acquired MinorityNurse.com and Minority Nurse magazine.

Margaret Zuccarini, Nursing Publisher at Springer Publishing Company, commented on the program's growth, "We are delighted to welcome Joe Morita to Springer's Nursing program which, over the past few years, has focused on meeting the evolving academic and professional informational needs of nursing graduate courses and the advanced practice clinician. We are pleased to be meeting these academic and clinical needs through Springer Publishing's timely, innovative and cutting edge program."
