About the Author
Shirley Ann Alpers has been a registered nurse for forty years. She has three adult children and two grandchildren. She lives on a farm with her husband, Jim, and 25 chickens, two miniature donkeys, three miniature goats, 11 pigs, three llamas, three house cats and a house dog named Molly. It was the birth of the baby llama in their farm that finally convinced her to pursue her dream of writing a children's book.
