Shadow Cell is a fiction book based in the 1980s on real medical experiments previously conducted by the Nazis during WWII. It takes us on a journey of what those experiments might have produced with today's technology. Synopsis:
Based on the evidence, Wade Hanna had reason to believe Megan was dead. With dogged determination and tracking skills learned in his Louisiana swamp Wade discovers Megan is not dead but on her own dangerous undercover mission for Army intelligence. Her medical training which made her cover story believable to the terrorist has now become life threatening. She faces likely discovery and torture if she doesn't apply her bio-medical talents to the will of her mobster boss.

Wade's single focus to save her soon becomes a suicide mission as Megan faces choices between the children's lives and her own. Even with the help of Wade's black ops European mentor Leopold, Wade has to cleverly think through every small step of his own survival to rescue her. He relies mostly on instincts to disguise himself among the friendly people he so desperately needs to help.

As explained by the author, Joseph D'Antoni, "Shadow Cell is not a story about a sleeper terrorist cell waiting to come alive within our shores. It's about real cells in our body and how through technology they can and may in the future be manipulated. About the Author:
Joseph D'Antoni was born in Louisiana and went to school in both Louisiana and California where he obtained advanced degrees including his doctorate from the University of Southern California. He has served in the military and on the faculty of three major universities. He now lives and works in California where his continues his successful practice as a court testifying forensic economist. His clients have included the FBI, The Justice Department, Intelligence Agencies and major law firms throughout the country.

Aside from writing and consulting Joseph is an acclaimed fine art photographer and artist having exhibited in his own and numerous artist shows. He has received distinguished awards for both his writing and art.
