About the Author
Kat Kylie is an award winning author of literary erotica, comedic author and human resources director. She's not the Kat that resides within the Babygirl Series. She's the Kat that lives vicariously through the Kat that resides within the Babygirl Series. In reality, she's your average, run-of-the-mill, boring, everyday, mostly single, professional woman. In 2012, she began reading erotic women's fiction when the craze hit. She admits it was fun at first, but ultimately unsatisfying. "I enjoyed the storyline that allowed me to feel as though I wasn't just thumbing through porn, but the sexual aspect was often too mundane to take me to the places I wanted to go. There seemed to be a vast divide between acceptable and taboo. It was either vanilla... or involved lactating step-mothers and/or tentacled creatures from the planet GnipGnop." That's when Kat decided to develop the 'Her Babygirl' series.

About The New Apple Book Awards
The Annual New Apple Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung books fighting for their place within the digital publishing world. Any English language book published within the last three years, currently available for sale by an independent author or small press that met the Awards' guidelines was eligible for entry. One book was chosen in each category as the Medalist Winner receiving the highest honors. In addition, the judges were permitted to choose up to three Official Selections for category distinction.
