S. David Freeman Releases 'The Green Cowboy'

About the Author

David Freeman has been instrumental in shaping many people's environmental awareness, helping to design government institutions and writing the laws that created the framework for U.S. energy policy. He has served under Presidents Carter, Nixon and Reagan. He was chairman of the Tennessee Valley Authority under President Carter, and also served as the head of the Lower Colorado River Authority, New York Power Authority, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. He is currently the Senior Advisor to Friends of the Earth and resides in Washington DC.
