All golfers know that physique largely determines how one is able to swing the golf club. "Tips for Ageing Golfers" presents a swing pattern that is particularly aimed at the ageing golfer. The author has found that the outlined pattern minimizes strain on the key joints and so allows good, pain-free, satisfying golf well into one's 80's and perhaps even 90's, should general health allow.

Ronald Player has played golf for over fifty years, played to scratch, won the club championship at golf clubs in two different countries and had a best-ever round of 64 on a par 72 course in America. He would be best classed as a pretty good amateur golfer.

Because of ageing, he was forced to undergo several operations, which made him realize that his golf swing was going to have change. That realization started a new learning phase that lasted several years, and his findings are presented as tips for ageing golfers. After changing his swing at the age of 74, he shot his age for the first time and has done so several times every year since. He is now 82 and hopes that older golfers might also achieve this by following his suggestions.

All ageing golfers would benefit from reading his booklet "Tips for Ageing Golfers."

About the Author
Ronald Player was born in Auckland, New Zealand.

He and his family are now naturalized Australians and have been so for many years. He became aware of golf as a boy because he lived near a golf course and remembers hunting for lost balls and selling them back to the members for pocket money. As a youth, he excelled at several ball sports. Player, however, only started golfing at the age of 30 while working as a geologist in Iran but the golf bug quickly took over and golf is now his main source of fellowship and pleasure in retirement.
