Living in a time of an economic downturn and high unemployment can weigh on a person. To people suffering, and to readers looking for inspiration to help strengthen their faith in God, R. Alan Krum, Jr. delivers his new book, "Feathers from Heaven" (published by Trafford Publishing), a collection of inspirational Christian poetry.

"I know times are tough right now
You feel you cannot see the sun through the clouds
Your heart aches for a loved one's pain
A rainbow after the rain
God is right beside you holding your hand
Holding you close
Helping you stand"

Krum's poetry is inspiring, but it can also serve the purpose of a daily devotional, with each poem offering readers a reflective topic to guide their spiritual meditations and prayers.

"Everyone is looking for ways to cope in the storms of life," says Krum. "This book will soothe the troubled heart and bring a smile to the hurting."

"Feathers from Heaven" is an uplifting collection of poems. Krum hopes the book will uplift readers' souls, showing that through Jesus they can do anything.
