Mathew Joseph, inspired by indifference in modern day society, brings forwards a science fiction novel that presents the anthropological observations of two alien beings on a study tour of the earth. In an attempt to study the earth's inhabitants and to understand them better, two alien scientists - John, an experienced traveler and Tomaz, a young one on his first voyage - visit a city in the country of "No Man's Land" (published by Partridge India).

In this nation of sycophants and cowards, people claim their past culture and traditions are superior to anything the present could produce, and so they live in the past. They refuse to confront the problems that their culture has produced. As the aliens make their way through the city, they share their perceptions and view with each other, noting the primitive and materialistic nature of humans and the corruption and ill humor that abounds. They also discuss possible ways that humanity could reform itself - if only they were capable of understanding.

Through the aliens' eyes, humans in this planet are afforded a unique perspective on how they interact and deal with society's many dynamics. Presented in "No Man's Land" is not only the present world but the different thinking patterns of humans, their ideals and the unique solutions they come up with because of their souls choosing the intention, evolutions and standard over other things.

"My book is about the earth and its inhabitants," Joseph shares. "It analyses how some countries apply and use common sense to improve their contributions and provide a better environment for its inhabitants. At the same time, some countries use the worst possible methods of planning and construction which leads to the path of self-destruction."
