Events don't happen in a vacuum. The background that was responsible for sowing the seeds of the events leading up to September 11, 2001, is chronicled in the incisive book "The Last Crusades."

According to the author, "The dysfunctional relations between the West and Islam that preceded 9/11 include an in-depth historical preview of how Palestine was overtaken by Zionists with the help of the British. The book graphically illustrates how Zionists forcefully ran the Palestinians out of Palestine and established the state of Israel with the help of Europe and the U.S."

The book chronicles the author's return to the Middle East after becoming a professional ESL teacher and working in Saudi Arabia for 12 years. He watched the horror of 9/11 before work one morning, and was propelled from that experience to theorize how he would write this book against the backdrop of 9/11, subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and how these conflicts have expanded confrontation between the West, Israel, Palestine, and the entire Islamic world.

Will it be possible to avoid the threat of a third world war, originating from the Middle East?

About the Author: Abdullah Bin Juttie was born in Detroit, graduated from the University of Michigan in Near Eastern Studies, and received his master's in linguistics from Northcentral University. He is the son of Olympic gold medalist track star Lorenzo Wright. Once he discovered that his African ancestor who came to America was a freed West African merchant marine named Juttie, the author changed his name to honor his family's ancestral name. His prowess in Arabic enabled him to receive a scholarship to attend American University of Cairo in Egypt. He is currently a contract linguist in Saudi Arabia and a music producer, mentored by Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, and Smokey Robinson.

"This book looks at the makings of one of the most important events in modern history and it is indeed an important story to be told. We are thrilled to announce its release," said Robert Fletcher, CEO of Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency.

Reader Edward Burke wrote, "Abdullah Bin Juttie has provided the reader with a profound, provocative, and sensitive profile of the conflicts between East and West regarding Islam ... You will view the Palestinians as they aspire for a homeland. Provided are the comparisons between the Americans and their fight with England for self-government, the fight for freedom from enslavement of African Americans by America; the oppression by the Israelis in being systematically dislodged from their land, an East vs. West conflict. Abdullah Juttie looks for common ground to convey a sound and reasonable political agreement for coexistence between East and West. Juttie examines and separates fact from fiction. As the readers move through each chapter, they will be impressed with his fair and unbiased goal for peace between East and West. A must read for the pragmatic individual. Can his outline for peace prevent WWIII?"
