In a small, country town in rural Ohio, there is a young boy living with his family on their farm. It's the mid 1940s and the boy, JW, passes the time with his dog Laddie and his pet raccoon, Minnie.

One night, as the dinner bell rings and the family gathers, young JW is nowhere to be found. What comes next is something out of this world. Literally.

JW discovers an alien and the boy's family decides to help the alien, Zog, find his home on the other side of the universe.

"Chronicles of JW and the Creator's Domain" tells the tremendous story of a family offering love and friendship to an outsider. Rather than shunning the stranger or deciding not to help him because of their differences, JW's family goes out of their way in welcoming Zog to their quiet life on The Farm.

"My book tells the story of accepting others and how they are without being judgmental or unloving," said Blackburn. "Growing up on a small farm in Ohio allowed me a wonderful childhood full of adventure and happiness."
