Naida Wilson Receives New Marketing Push for 'A Journey Toward God'

Clinton, Mo.

Author Naida Wilson takes inspiration from the Holy Spirit to express the joy and pain in her heart in her uplifting new poetry collection, "A Journey Toward God: Prayers for the Journey" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Wilson describes her poems as "poetic prayers." They reflect on a variety of themes, from deep repentance to extravagant worship. By sharing her heart's joys and sorrows, Wilson hopes to inspire in readers a deeper hunger and thirst for a closer, more intimate relationship with God.

"Life is tough, and everyone needs someone who loves them to encourage and listen to what we have to say," Wilson says. "I pray that the book will help people to learn to express their hearts to the Lord, perhaps, when they are at a loss for a way to express what they are feeling."

An excerpt from Wilson's poem, "Perfect Love":

"Lord, can it truly be
that Your Love for me
cannot be changed
by a single thing
that I might do?
Is it really true?"
