Management Concepts Press has added three new volumes to The Government Manager's Essential Library with the publication of The Government Manager's Guide to Leading Teams, by Lisa DiTullio; The Government Manager's Guide to Earned Value Management, by Charles I. Budd and Charlene S. Budd; and The Government Manager's Guide to the Statement of Work, by Michael G. Martin, PMP.

The Government Manager's Essential Library is a series of books dedicated to helping the government manager get expert advice quickly and succinctly on all the subjects he or she may encounter. This publication presents practical guidance for government managers on earned value management (EVM) from basic calculations to how to find the most useful information online. About the Authors: Charles I. Budd is a principal of Budd Management Systems and is currently developing project management automation tools and consulting on information systems projects as well as conducting seminars. Charlene S. Budd is a professor emeritus at Baylor University where she taught graduate management accounting and project management classes.

Michael G. Martin offers practical guidance on writing and preparing a description of government requirements, whether the document used is a statement of work (SOW), a performance work statement (PWS), or a statement of objectives (SOO).
