The story of Jason and Alexander gets more intense as Alexander does the unheard of, he flees from the light which comes for all dead. As he leaves the light he is marked by seven of the Shadow enforcers he encounters. A price is put on his head. When he returns to the real world to find Jason, they learn each of the seven will come for Alexander in the form of a walking zombie created by taking over a human host as they are about to die.
If Alexander can survive the seven Shadows or make it until the next full moon he will win his freedom. If not, he will be taken by the light and forced to cross over. Jason and Alexander must work together to survive the attacks, but how do you fight the living dead who can appear at any time and take the form of anyone around? Who will survive in the battle for Alexander's spirit. Can Jason save him or will he fall victim in the battle? The story will end with a death, a new course for Alexander and a conversation with the last person you could ever imagine.
