Jose Garcia has over 10 years experience in the healthcare field. He is a Psychiatric Technician at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute in Las Vegas, New Mexico. "Smokey Lounge" (ISBN: 978-15049-12464) a book of poetry for family reading that also brings poetry from its predecessor, "Finger Hingez" and other publicized anthology from writings inspired in Langton Hughes Library, is a poetic movement after Hurricane Katrina and inner city blues that need a voice.Born on July 24, 1976 in New York City, Jose attended college and obtained his C.N.A. designation. Jose, his wife and two beautiful daughters reside in New Mexico. In his spare time he enjoys reading, writing, drawing and billiards.
