After spending nearly 10 years of philosophical study and thought, John Wills pulls together in his book, "Albatross" (published by iUniverse), some answers to hard life questions and proposes plans that can improve society.

"Albatross" will be featured at the 2013 New York State Reading Association's Literacy for All Learners Conference, today, Oct. 27 - 29, 2013, in Albany, N.Y. Literacy for All Learners Conference will focus on meeting the needs of diverse learners among classrooms and libraries. The conference will feature many nationally known speakers throughout the three-day conference.

"Albatross" uses conceptual analysis and honest thought to derive real solutions to many human problems. Wills addresses conflicting popular opinion on sexuality and several aspects of politics. Readers willing to stop, think and reread this book may find applicable value in their own lives. The book uses themes of analysis and open-ended questions to challenge the reader to apply his or her own insight into the matters at hand.

John Wills was born in Britain, grew up in Kenya, and now lives in California. Wills completed degrees in mathematics from Open University of the U.K. in 1974 and 1995. He has worked mainly in informatics, but has also spent some time as a stockbroker's messenger, accounting clerk, payroll clerk, customer aide and census enumerator.
