Hollie Leal Launches THE READING BUTTERFLY

"The Reading Butterfly": a beautifully illustrated tale of an insatiable caterpillar that will inspire a love for reading through a memorable story. "The Reading Butterfly" is the creation of published author, Hollie Leal, a second-grade reading teacher living outside of Amarillo, Texas. She is married and has two children. Aside from being a mother and wife, teaching children to read is the most important job she has ever had. She feels blessed to teach students not only how to read, but to love reading. "The Reading Butterfly" is her first book, and she hopes it will encourage and inspire new readers to use their reading "wings" to go anywhere.

When Little Caterpillar first emerges, she has an insatiable appetite for the letters in the wind. Soon, letters are not enough. She eats all the small words she can find.
