Pandora B. Angel, MD, was a practicing physician for 30 years. She spent 23 of those years as an emergency physician at a university medical center and an affiliated hospital. Angel provides an analytical critique of American culture at large, and argues that her experiences in the medical field are indicative of what is a larger, systemic abuse of power.
