Author of the Chris Lynheart series, Dalton Reutlinger, returns to the publishing scene with the release of “Chris Lynheart: Daughter of Forayer” (published by AuthorHouse), the second book in the series. Following the first book “Chris Lynheart: The Rise of Experiment 2025,” the subsequent release centers on America's second civil war, and the ultimate downfall of Washington D.C., and the lead character getting revenge for the death of his parents. The science fiction novel charts the story of a 14-year-old boy who was kidnapped to become a military experiment so the government could control the elements. The experiment ultimately fails, and the boy is taken back to Washington where they can keep an eye on him. Eventually, he comes across plans of a new force rising in the Middle East, threatening the world, but the government does nothing, so the boy takes matters into his own hands.

Reutlinger explains that the book’s exploration of political issues follows very closely with what is currently happening in the society. Ultimately, he hopes to provide the readers a good story that will compel them to ask for more.
