Author Bret Coe's son, Drew, loves books but doesn't like going to bed. This inspired his father to write "Livi and Drew Time for BED" (published by Trafford Publishing), a new bedtime children's book that parents can use to help usher their own little ones into dreamland.

Accompanied by colorful illustrations by Cory Say, "Livi and Drew Time for BED" joins young Livi and Drew at bedtime. It's time for them to go to sleep, but they don't want to, and even hide from their mother to stall the process.

Their mother explains to Livi and Drew that going to sleep makes dreaming possible, and that dreams can take them to all kinds of fun and amazing places. She walks them through some possible dream scenarios, and when morning comes, the children don't want to get out of bed - they aren't ready to stop dreaming. Their mother explains to them that the great thing about dreaming is that they get to do it every night, and bedtime takes on a whole new meaning for Livi and Drew.

An excerpt from "Livi and Drew Time for BED":

"'I thought you didn't want to go to bed?'

'That was before we knew about dreaming, and all the fun places we could go.'"
