Book looks back on 2016 US presidential campaign

Althea Lewis-Banks is a self-confessed political junkie. A liberal, she wants everyone to make smart, informed decisions. In her published book "I Told You So!!" (published by AuthorHouse), Lewis-Banks underscores the negative future impact and long-lasting problems of voting against one's own interest.

The book, which emphasizes on the recent U.S. presidential elections, magnifies the key characters of the campaign - elected President Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, former President Barrack Obama, Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein. Lewis-Banks also takes a closer look on the voters of America in relation to the last election. "I was also inspired to write this book to emphasize how horrible Hillary was treated and to say I'm sorry."

The author was inspired to write this book because she was shocked to find out that most Americans have no idea what is going on in politics and how it affects their daily lives. "This election cycle was particularly brutal. There were so many misinformation and lies. People had nowhere to turn and no one to believe."
