Book Offers a Sci-Fi Adventure That Takes Readers to the Realm of the... “The Dark Hills” (published by Xlibris AU in June 2013) by TD Smith follows a woman’s mysterious and thrilling double life as a human and a wolf. This book reveals the difference between modern day living and the primitive origins of the woman’s forebears, and the lifestyle she chooses. It revolves around the variation of the city life and in the wilderness and the possible problems and discrimination associated with those differences.

The main character is a woman who believes she is having dreams about running wild in the dark hills however while she is being haunted by the same imaginings, she accidentally discovers a family in the wilderness. These exciting and mysterious characters will play an important part into the woman’s life. Can the woman trust these strangers or are they just another enemy waiting for their chance of attack?

Smith believes that the story is relevant in today’s society because people are now more accepting towards believers of alternative lifestyles, natural healers and more open towards further possibilities and skills. Her intent is to mesmerize the readers with the idea of mystery and great imaginings. She also aims that readers will contemplate and ponder the impossible and make them feel what the characters are feeling, capture their imaginations and enjoy their exhilarating adventure.

“The Dark Hills” will appeal to people who are interested in the supernatural, who enjoy haunting, mystical stories with unusual twists and turns. It will be enjoyed by those who also have adventurous dreams and who relish hidden messages as well.
