Over the years of teaching the Bible and spiritual principles, Bishop Kwabena Rainey Cheeks has encountered many reoccurring questions in regards to spiritual development and inner peace. While he knew personal counsel was ideal, he also saw a great need for a literary reference to help people "reclaim their divine birthright." This new thought led Cheeks to pen his religion/spirituality book, "Reclaiming Your Divine Birthright" (published by iUniverse).

"I believe this work will answer many questions," says Cheeks. "This book combines theology and metaphysical interpretations for finding the pathway to higher consciousness. Using biblical stories, the book leads you into a deeper understanding of your life path. Jesus asked us to follow him, and this book is a means to lay out that path that Jesus asked of us."

In "Reclaiming Your Divine Birthright," Cheeks provides pertinent biblical citations to understand the nature of God and the reader's relationship with the Divine.

Cheeks illustrates for readers that God's kingdom is much closer than many would think.

"The Kingdom of God is within you," explains Cheeks, "and it is up to you to discover it. Humanity is the only entity God blew His breath into, so rightfully, the Kingdom of God is your divine birthright."
