Canterbury, New Zealand

Bill Rodger marks his debut in the world of political thrillers with "Unseen Element." This new novel, intricately plotted and brilliantly orchestrated, is a story of political intrigue, terror and a world caught in the complex schemes of the world's superpowers.

An act of terrorism sets the tense atmosphere of "Unseen Element." Air Force One has been shot down and U.S. President Cleveland is dead. Right after the shocking incident, a terrorist group calls up Washington Post and claims responsibility for the assassination.

For New Zealand Prime Minister Susan Hill, the death of the U.S. President is both a personal and national tragedy. For Pete and Jannie, two ruthless South African mercenaries, the killing is belated triumph. For two traitors working in Washington, it means an abrupt exit from the stormy waters of life. Unbeknownst to them all, they are just pawns in a Machiavellian machination that could change the course of history.

Explosive and relentlessly paced, "Unseen Element" has all the firepower and suspense of a high stakes gamble. It will have readers clinging to the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
