Author Paul LeBlanc takes the readers into an unforgettable journey that will let them get a glimpse into the glamour and glitz of Hollywood through his new publication. You can get There from Here chronicles his life from a small town in New-Brunswick, Canada, his adventures as he chases his dream of being a hairdresser and his remarkable stint into the world of the stars.

LeBlanc had a typical adolescence. He grew up in the 50's after the Second World War. All they heard from their elders during those years was how difficult everything was during the Great Depression and of course, during the War that was supposed to end all wars. They were not fully connected with the big outside world and, being French Acadian, they kept mostly to themselves. If there is one thing they learn from their early years, it was that they had no intention of becoming second class citizens in their own Acadie. They were going to go out and move forward with their talents and their minds.

In his journey, Paul had been through ups and downs. He failed his grade nine, but he also learned a true basic rule that he would keep for the rest of his life: "Don't give anybody anything they do not need to know or see." His interest in movies led him to realize his dreams. One movie, Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra shifted his direction completely. The women there had the most amazing hairdos. He started drawing faces with different makeup looks and of course, hairdos. Eventually, he got himself a hairdressing diploma, and he launched another adventure that will take him to Europe and finally to Hollywood California, the major motion picture capital of the world where he worked with distinguished movie stars.

"The journey from a small town in New-Brunswick, Canada to Hollywood, though rewarding, has been a long and arduous one but, it was not as long and arduous as the journey from Hollywood back to the small town," LeBlanc says.

Inspiring and oftentimes humorous, You can get There from Here imparts a very important motivation for all-one should never be afraid to pursue his dreams.
