The new poetry collection "Just a Moment!: Daily Reflections for Thinkers" (published by CrossBooks) offers thoughtful reflections gathered from author Ann Zwemer's more than 80 years of living.

In this second edition of "Just a Moment!," Zwemer provides readers with reflections that offer the perfect start to each day. Each thought-provoking and meaningful reflection is one short sentence, easily read in a moment. They reflect subjects such as age, anger, contentment, failure, God, happiness, justice, loss, love, peace, self-esteem and time. These daily reflections are not marked by a specific year, so the collection can be used as a perpetual calendar.

An excerpt from "Just a Moment!"

"January 29
I should daydream only when I am in a safe place.
January 30
I searched for happiness everywhere before I found it within myself."

"Most of us wake up every day with some anticipation of what that day will bring," Zwemer says. "But what if we awoke to a reflection that left us feeling hopeful for the day?"
