American Author, Julie Ann Brown, Releases 3rd Edition of Her Book About Sleeping Beauty's Daughter

Julie Ann Brown, professor and American author, has published the third edition of her debut fairy-tale,Alinda of the Loch, Sleeping Beauty's daughter. The book, originally published in 2009 by Across the Pond Publishing is the story of Alinda, the youngest daughter of Queen Aurora and King Colin of the famous Sleeping Beauty story. It takes place on Loch Ness, the famous deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands. The story was co-written by Julie Ann Brown and Loch Ness born writer, OonaghJane Pope and is the first of it's kind to imagine the continuation of the beloved Sleeping Beauty fairy tale.

"I'm very excited to see the book published in its third edition." Professor Brown said. "We've been met with astonishing positive feedback so far. People love reading our new twist on a widespread tale. I'm thrilled to be sending more copies in to the hands of our fans. I expect Alinda to become the next great fairy tale."

Julie Ann, just back from the Cannes Film Festival, is also working alongside U.S and U.K. filmmakers to bring Sleeping Beauty's Daughter into the heart and hearth of children of all ages. The screenplay, "Alinda of the the Loch; Sleeping Beauty's Daughter" was co-written by Brown and Joan Lane, the originating force in the discovery of the screen play "The Kings Speech."

Brown has cosigned watercolor artist Lauren Gerlach to illustrate the 3rd edition of her book Alinda of the Loch, Sleeping Beauty's daughter."When I saw Lauren's passion for art and her enchanting characters, I knew she was the one to create original illustrations for the 3rd Edition of our book ."Professor Brown said. "Her paintings inspire both the young and old to dream of castles and days gone by."

The 3rd Edition of Alinda of the Loch, Sleeping Beauty's Daughter will be available for download in vivid color, with Lauren Gerlach illustrations, in time for the celebrating the holiday month of December 2013. Julie Ann Brown is an American author and a professor of marketing in Santa Barbara, California. Her love of fairy tales and research into the enchantment of Europe with its mystic tales, comes alive in this modern Scottish story.

ABOUT OONAGH JANE POPE

Oonagh Jane Pope is a primary teacher in the U.K. As a native of Inverness-shire in Scotland she was brought up with stories of the Monster of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, which gives richness to the story of Sleeping Beaut's daughter, Alinda.

ABOUT LAURA GERLACH

Lauren Gerlach was born and raised in Santa Barbara County, California. Upon being inspired by the works of Walt Disney's "The Little Mermaid," Lauren began illustrating her own creations at the age of five. Her delicate style parallels the adventurous imagination of a child, and evokes the dream of everlasting youth. Lauren currently resides in Solvang, California, illustrating her own children's book, and Julie Ann Brown's "Alinda of the Loch."
