Ageless Authors Anthology available now

Forty-five senior writers contributed to this one-of-a-kind compilation of poetry, essays and short stories selected from among hundreds of entries in the Ageless Authors Writing Contest for older writers nationwide.

Oregon writer and composer Michael Coolen gives us the memorable opening sentence, "Dad was killed by whales." The late John Garzone of Massachusetts tells of a lady pool shark who stole a young man's heart in "Smooth Sheila." And Texas writer Shirley K. Wright weaves a suspenseful tale of home invasion in "No Thanks For the Memory."

Ageless Authors is the brainchild of Dallas writers Ginnie Bivona and Larry Upshaw. Bivona is an 86-year-old novelist and poet who started writing in her fifties. Upshaw is a 70-year-old ghostwriter, marketing executive, and former journalist. They are working to build a senior writing community nationwide.
