THERAPY: COMEDY FROM PAIN Shows The Power Of Laughter In Healing

For one night only, Therapy: Comedy from Pain plays at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective on Wednesday, December 19th at 10:00 pm. NYC's top comics share comedic pieces inspired by traumatic events and tragedy in their lives to show the healing power of comedy.

Through comedic forms including standup, performance art and musical comedy, these elite comedians will mine personal periods of grief in a cathartic display of comedy's power to overcome. Hand-picked from a pool of 50 submissions, these ten comedians demonstrated profound comedic abilities and powerful personal accounts to earn their spot on this one-night-only show.

Comedians include Zach Zimmerman (The New Yorker), Nadia Iqbal, James Mac , Emily Walsh (Comedy Mob Festival winner), Jasper Wang (Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival), Michelle Drozdick, Noam Osband, Belynda Cleare & Chelsea Hart. Hosted and produced by Mac Gostow.
