Black Revolutionary Theatre Workshop Presents REVOLUTION

With an enduring legacy of violence, injustice, and white supremacy in America, what happens when Black people just can't take it anymore? Told through a series of snapshot-like moments along the course of the revolution, audiences follow the fight for Black liberation in America through eyes of would-be revolutionaries and the surprising personalities they encounter in the fight.

Black Revolutionary Theatre Workshop (BRTW) is a Brooklyn-based ensemble that develops original works focused on the Black community in response to current events and trends. The company was founded in 2015 by Kevin Green and Heather Harvey in response to the massacre at Mother Emanuel AME in Charleston, SC.

This performance of REVOLUTION features Cassagnol Leonidas and BRTW members Mieko Gavia, Kevin Green, and Heather Harvey, and is directed by Phaedra Michelle Scott.
