A TASTE OF SHAKESPEARE Opens 8/8 with Delicious Treats!

Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre, an award-winning ensemble theatre company, presents A TASTE OF SHAKESPEARE by William Shakespeare, adapted by Emily Lyon+.

Three plays in one hour! Plays include TINY TEMPEST, 1/12TH NIGHT and MIDSUMMER: TEDIOUS & BRIEF.

Lovers of the bard will enjoy the clever ways the plays are compressed as well as the resonances that arise in comparing these three plays.

New to Shakespeare? Just a small taste! No 4-hour commitment.

Each "taste" of the bard is served with a treat! On August 8th & 9th (rooftop performances at Industrious Brooklyn), plays will be paired with Prosecco and ice cream. On August 10th & 11th (outdoor stage performances at The Well), plays will be paired with beer. August 12th & 13th, the plays will be served with cereal pops (Prospect Park).

A TASTE OF SHAKESPEARE opens Tuesday, August 8th and runs for 7 performances in various Brooklyn locations through Sunday, August 13th, 2017.

August 8 & 9 at 7 PM - Industrious Brooklyn Rooftop (594 Dean Street, Brooklyn)
August 10 & 11 at 7 PM - The Well Outdoor Stage (272 Meserole Street, Brooklyn)
August 12 at 3 PM & 6 PM - Prospect Park
