One of Australia's leading performers, Rachael Beck, returns to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) this time with her autobiographical cabaret show, Rachael Beck - This Girl, in the Cremorne Theatre for two shows only on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October 2016.

Sharing the same name as her first solo album, Rachael Beck - This Girl, was created in 2014 for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and takes audiences on an intimate journey through Beck's life and career, featuring stories and songs from her album and her major career roles.

With a career adorned in large scale musicals such as, Singin' in the Rain, LES MISERABLES, Cats, Beauty and the Beast, andChitty Chitty Bang Bang; This Girl scales it back with Beck delivering a dynamic concert that gives audiences an insight into how she became a performer.

Rachael Beck - This Girl pairs Beck's award winning voice with pianist Max Lambert, as she plays herself, giving a truly personable performance.

Most recently, Beck won acclaim for her performance of 'Diana' in BLACK SWANs production of Next to Normal (2015) and in early 2016 she performed at QPAC as a guest vocalist in the sold out season of Queensland Ballet's Strictly Gershwin.

Through Rachael Beck - This Girl, Beck reveals her life in the spotlight candidly, touching on the trials and triumphs that prove life isn't always as it seems. If you're interested, you can book now at www.qpac.com.au or phone 136 246.
