New Trimester Begins at Franklin School for the Performing Arts

By:

The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will begin a new Trimester on December 12th. New students are welcome to register for classes continuing throughout the school year. FSPA brings together all performing arts disciplines including Music, Dance and Drama under one roof in downtown Franklin. The School offers professional training to students interested in serious study and those who enjoy the arts for recreation.

The Music Department at FSPA offers voice and instrumental group classes with ensemble performing opportunities, as well as private lessons with recitals featuring students of all instructors in the school's recital hall. Little Music School ® is a unique pre-school music program developed by and taught exclusively at FSPA, teaching children as young as 18 months to play the piano.

FSPA's Dance Department boasts a premiere faculty of professional performers and teachers from the Boston area. The dance program offers classes at all levels on two tracks in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical. Special classes are featured for beginner teens, adults and boys.

The FSPA Drama Department features specialized programs in Acting and Musical Theater with classes for all ages and levels beginning with Kindergarten children. Ensemble opportunities include Obstreperous Rep for actors and musical theater groups for grades 5 - 12 with annual performance trips to DisneyWorld.

FSPA offers prospective students the opportunity to try classes at an appropriate age and level. Families interested in the school are encouraged to visit and view or try a class at any time.

Registration is ongoing at the school and can be done in person at FSPA, 38 Main Street, Franklin, or over the phone. For more information or to request a course catalogue, call (508) 528-8668 or visit www.fspaonline.com
