Free Community Event At Roxbury Community College In Conjunction With SKELETON CREW Huntington Theatre Company in partnership with Roxbury Community College presents a free community event on Thursday, February 15 at 7pm in conjunction with the Huntington's upcoming production of the highly acclaimed hit Off Broadway play Skeleton Crew.

The evening will feature a scene from Dominique Morisseau's play Skeleton Crew, followed by a panel discussion with director Megan Sandberg-Zakian, and cast members Toccarra Cash, Jonathan Louis Dent, Patricia R. Floyd, and Maurice Emmanuel Parent, moderated by Marshall Hughes, Director of Fine, Performing and Media Arts at Roxbury Community College.

The evening is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are encouraged.

This event continues the Huntington's longstanding tradition of bringing its work beyond its homes on the Avenue of the Arts and in the South End to Boston's neighborhoods and communities, including past events at the Strand Theatre (Topdog/Underdog in 2017; Guess Who's Coming to Dinner in 2014; A Raisin in the Sun in 2013; Breath, Boom in 2003), Hibernian Hall (Ma Rainey's Black Bottom in 2012), and Roxbury Community College (Gem of the Ocean in 2004; Radio Golf in 2006; Fences in 2009).

The Huntington Theatre Company's production of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau plays March 2 - 31, 2018 at the South End / Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. Tickets and more information at huntingtontheatre.org/skeletoncrew.

ABOUT THE SHOW
In the breakroom of the last small auto plant still standing, a makeshift family of workers swap stories, share dreams, and take pride in their work. When confronted with the possibility of the factory closing, power dynamics shift and each is pushed to the limits of survival. Inspired by August Wilson's Century Cycle, Dominique Morisseau's bold and compassionate new play is part of her Detroit Project play cycle.
