JM Productions, Entertainment Producer in conjunction with United First Parish Church is proud to present a new five month Broadway Concert series starring some of Broadway's finest entertainers handpicked especially for audiences looking for a bit of Broadway right in their own backyard. With the redevelopment of Quincy's downtown and the arrival of the multimillion dollar Hancock-Adams Park adjacent to the church grounds this cultural series is sure to be a hit with residents and concert goers from across the Commonwealth. Alexa Green has become one of the most sought-after new voices and rising stars of this generation. She is best known for her turn as Glinda in the Los Angeles and San Francisco companies of the hit Broadway musical "Wicked". After playing to sold-out audiences for nearly two years, she went on to appear alongside Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone in the international cinematic release of Stephen Sondheim's "Company" with The New York Philharmonic Live from Lincoln Center. Alexa has toured both nationally and internationally as a singer and actor and has been noted as being "petite and precocious, with sort of a Mae West-ish-ness about her." Alexa most recently released her debut album, "So Good" on Grammy Award-winning record label, Broadway Records and won the Broadwayworld Award for Best New Solo Recording, 2016. Alexa received her BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and is currently studying for her MA in Vocal Pedagogy/Music and Music Education at Columbia University. She is a teaching artist in residence and owns her own private practice in musical theatre, rock, and popular voice.Videos
