Morrison Center Presents CHRISTMAS CAROL, SLEEPY HOLLOW, et al.

By: Oct. 01, 2010

Three beloved classic tales will come to life on the stage of the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts as part of this year's Family Reading Series. Well known to Boise audiences for the past three years, the program has found a new home at the Morrison Center. All shows are at 2 p.m. on Sundays. The new season includes:

Oct. 24: "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"
Dec. 19: "A Christmas Carol"
Feb. 27: "The Emperor's New Clothes"

Five actors bring these classic tales to life on stage with the audience and change characters in the blink of an eye. Children and their parents become part of the action by playing the wind, the ghosts or the emperor's subjects. There will be refreshments for the children at intermission.

Series tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Individual tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children. Tickets may be purchased at the Morrison Center box office, by calling (208) 426-1110 or online at www.idahotickets.com.

For more information, call Morrison Center education director Carole Whiteleather at 426-1034 or e-mail cwhitele@boisestate.edu.
