SEA WALL/A LIFE to Broadway  Aug 29 2019, 12:23:50 AM
On Monday I went to the box office at 5pm and got a rush ticket orchestra row N center. Perfect seat! I don’t know how well it’s selling but if you can manage I would give rush a try.

Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon alternating in LITTLE FOXES  Feb 26 2017, 05:34:02 PM

It might be overkill but I kind of want to catch the show twice on a Sunday when they'll alternate from matinee to evening show. What's the typical runtime for this show?

Hey all! Has anyone heard about rush/lotto? If not I will check in with box office on Wednesday morning and report back. Wanted to see the show Wednesday night and was hoping to not pay $100+

Cymbeline student rush?  Nov 30 2011, 03:44:29 PM
Has anyone tried it lately? I'm thinking about rushing it tomorrow night. The Barrow Street Theater website says the go on sale at 1 PM on the day of the performance. Do i have to get there that early or will I be ok getting there around 5ish?
Sleep No More is AMAZING  Aug 21 2011, 12:39:50 AM
The 7:00, 7:15... ticket times are in place to make it seem more like a hotel. You get "reservation times" for the McKittrick Hotel. I learned early on in the run that the times don't reflect what time you can enter the show.

"a LOOSE interpretation of Macbeth! thats hilarious. What does that even mean?"

Can you REALLY not figure out what that means? It's loosely based on Macbeth. They took basic plot points, characters, etc. and changed them around to shape their own story. T

@massofmen: Sleep No More is not Macbeth. It is a loose interpretation of Macbeth. That is why most reviews and articles talking about it say "...Sleep No More, inspired by Shakespeare's Macbeth..." Inspired. It's not scene for scene the entire play. Most people I talk to who've seen the show understand it, even if they don't know much about Macbeth. It's quite easy to piece it together, provided you take the initiative to see enough. The "little girl in the cape" is from the Rebecca storyline,

Did you follow Lady Macduff after one of the banquet scenes? That scene that you're referring to happens right after the banquet scene ends.
Seeing Sleep No More on Tuesday...  Jul 30 2011, 11:54:59 PM
A great Italian place is 3 blocks away on 10th between 24th and 25th called Pepe Giallo http://pepegiallo.com/

There's a Dallas BBQ on 23rd and 8th.

There's a New York Burger Company on 10th and 23rd if you want something quick.

There's also a bar, I dont know the name, across the street and a little closer toward 10th. Looks like a really nice place for drinks, but if you need a bar there's always the McKittrick :) Enjoy the show!

How to prepare for Sleep No More?  Jul 6 2011, 12:36:29 AM
Comfortable shoes and light clothes as everyone has said. 3 hours of walking and running takes a toll on you.

Follow Macbeth around for at least one full cycle. You should be able to figure out who he is from specific scenes if you read the sparknotes. Be curious and enjoy!

In NYC (2 Weeks) - What show do you recommend?  Jun 21 2011, 12:40:07 AM
In order:

1) Sleep No More
2) Jerusalem
3) The Normal Heart
4) Not Spider-Man
5) Sleep No More (again)

Not sure when you will be in the city, but if you want to see Sleep No More, I would recommend getting tickets ASAP. I very very highly recommend it. It's different from everything else you'll see here or anywhere. If money isn't an issue than you'll be able to see a Broadway show like The Normal Heart and then Sleep No More has late night shows that start at 1

Thanks for posting. Only 2 of those tracks are actually used in the show, though.
Book of Mormon SRO  Jun 17 2011, 12:01:23 AM
Why not just have the SRO spots as a second half of the lottery?

Catch Me Rush  Jun 4 2011, 11:56:57 PM
This Wednesday I got to the box office 10 minutes before the matinee and got a seat in the center mezz row P. Good view.
Punchdrunk presents Musicals?  May 26 2011, 12:01:01 PM
Company would be fun to explore. I'd love to see what Maxine Doyle would do for the choreography on that.

With a small audience, Next to Normal in an actual house. With certain rooms set aside for Natalie's school and Diana's psychotherapy/hospital.
